Next Rally: April 2012 |
International Learn To Fly Day - May 21:
EAA Chapter 196 celebrated International Learn to Fly Day
on May 21 by offering
free introductory airplane rides to adults. It was just like our
regular Young Eagles rallies, but for grownups. Representatives of
TENLE Aviation flight school were on hand to discuss flight
training opportunities. Photo gallery of the day
here.
Want to see what a Young Eagles Rally looks like? Here is a
photo gallery
of our most recent rally, held October 8.
We have photo galleries and reports for all our other rallies held
during 2000 through 2011, all of which can be found on our main
Young Eagles page.
The full rally schedule for year 2011 is available there too.

Young Eagles: The Young Eagles program offers free airplane rides

Our chapter's annual fly-in to Myricks
Airport in Berkley was held Sunday, September 18, 2011.
This is an official chapter event and a lot of fun, an easy going
fly-in at a grass airport where we supply the burgers and hotdogs.
Here is a

of the 2011 event.
Runway 21 PAPI Dedication: On November 14, 2009 the new PAPI

the cost of the PAPI.
